Welcome to Hampshire Wildlife Trust Petersfield Group
The Petersfield Area of the Hampshire Wildlife Trust stretches from Buriton and East Meon in the South through to Bramshott and Liphook in the North and contains a wide variety of habitats, each with its own specialised plant and animal life. Rolling downland, hanging chalk woodlands, heathland , streams, ponds and lakes can all be explored. There are also a number of nature reserves and areas managed for wildlife such as Buriton Churchyard. The Petersfield Group arranges many events in the area, these include walks, both guided and informal; talks, and coffee mornings. There are also opportunities for joining in practical work on local reserves.
